Giovanni Valenti’s Gialloblù faced the Biancocelesti in a knockout game, with a place in the next round of the competition at stake. Ambrosi and her teammates delivered a strong performance, controlling the match for long spells. After a goalless 90 minutes, the game went to extra time. It was Lazio who broke the deadlock in the first period of extra time, as Visentin’s strike left Copetti with no chance and secured progression for the visitors.
