Parma, September 29, 2025 – Parma defeated Torino 2-1 at home on the fifth matchday of Serie A. It was a challenging first half for the Gialloblu, who only took the lead after the half-hour mark after Pellegrino scored a penalty awarded for an obvious handball by Ismajli in the 35th minute. He stepped up and hit the back of the net. In the 50th minute, a powerful long-range shot from Ngonge levelled the scoreline (1-1). Eight minutes later, Suzuki made a diving save to stop an effort from Casadei. In the second half, both teams came out with more energy. In the 72nd minute, Maripàn almost scored an own goal off a cross from Britschgi. The match was decided by Parma’s second goal. Valeri delivered a cross to Pellegrino who headed it in to make it 2-1. Parma will return to action against Lecce at the Tardini on Saturday, October 4 at 15:00 CEST.
