The visitors took the lead in the 63rd minute through Folorunsho, whose powerful cross-shot flew beyond Corvi. Parma responded with determination and found their equaliser after 83 hard-fought minutes: after a neat combination with Bernabé, the ball fell to Oristanio, who finished left-footed past Caprile. The Cagliari goalkeeper had earlier produced key saves, denying Pellegrino in the first half and keeping out a Bernabé free-kick after the break, but could do little about the leveller.
