Parma, 27 December 2025 – A strong display from the Gialloblu, who secured a crucial win over Fiorentina thanks to a Sørensen goal. Parma played well in the first half and went close to taking the lead through the Danish midfielder and Ondrejka, before finding the breakthrough early in the second half. Britschgi delivered a cross from the right, Pellegrino got a slight touch to alter the ball’s path, and Sørensen arrived to power home a decisive header.
From that moment on, the spotlight fell on Parma-born goalkeeper Edoardo Corvi, who sealed a fully deserved victory with three outstanding saves: first denying Ndour and Comuzzo, then producing a crucial stop against Gudmundsson late on. Pellegrino also went close twice to doubling the lead, most notably in the 74th minute, but his effort drifted wide. Still, Parma showed great character and pride in front of more than 20,000 fans, claiming three vital points.
