Parma, 10 December 2025 – On the morning of Tuesday 9 December, the Stadio Ennio Tardini became a hub of connection, learning, and discovery. It was far more than just a sports venue – it was a space to explore, brought to life by the activities of the “Professione Inclusione” project. The initiative is the result of a collaboration between the Noi Insieme Association, a volunteer organisation that promotes the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities and supports the work of Cooperativa Insieme, and Istituto Giordani, a state upper secondary school, specifically the fourth-year T class of the tourism programme.
The programme, centred on inclusion and accessibility, helps students explore the experiences of people in the community who face different challenges.
The aim is twofold: to build awareness and equip students with practical skills for their future careers in tourism, where creating genuinely accessible services means being able to welcome everyone.
Following the theoretical work undertaken in recent months, the students are now experiencing practical, real-world activities across the city, supported by volunteers from the Noi Insieme Association and the staff and users of Cooperativa Insieme. It is through daily contact, observation, and dialogue that theory is transformed into genuine understanding.
