PRE-SEASON 2025: SV WERDER BREMEN 0-0 PARMA

Zell am Ziller (Austria), 26 July 2025 – At the Parkstadion in Zell am Ziller, Austria, Parma played out a 0–0 draw against SV Werder Bremen. In their second pre-season friendly, the Gialloblù played 120 minutes (two 60-minute halves), looking to put dangerous moves together and break down their opponents. The best chances of the first half fell to Carlos Cuesta’s side.

In the fifth minute, Ondrejka played a clever through ball to Pellegrino, who was thwarted by Backhaus. Just two minutes later, the Argentine striker hit the post with a header from a Valeri cross. The rebound came back to him, but his follow-up effort came off the goalkeeper and went out for a corner. In the 35th minute, Ondrejka fired over following a nice Parma counter, but he was then forced off with an injury and replaced by Kouda. The latter tested Backhaus in the 56th minute from a low Begić cross, but Backhaus was equal to it.

In the second half, with both sides making plenty of changes, chances were few and far between. The Gialloblù’s next friendly will be on Thursday 31 July (11:00 CEST) against Real Club Deportivo Mallorca in Wörgl, Austria.
