Noceto, 7 July 2025 – Today the 2025/26 season began for Parma Women. After two days of medical checks and fitness tests, this morning the side had their first training at the Noce Sports Centre in Noceto.
The team, under manager Giovanni Valenti and his technical staff, are ready to start preparation for the new year which will start on the weekend dating 23-24 August with the beginning of the Serie A Women’s Cup, the new format of the pre-season competition. Serie A will begin on Sunday 5 October.
The summer tour will take place from 3 to 13 August in Trentino-Alto Adige, near Ronzone, where the players will work with intensity to get in the best physical condition and to strengthen the group spirit, also involving the new additions. During the stay in Val di Non, there will be a prestigious test: on Sunday 4 August, Parma will face Inter Women, in Ronzone. There will then be two other away games: on Wednesday 13 August, Parma will face Bologna Women, and on Wednesday 20 August, the Gialloblu will face Lumezzane (the time is not yet confirmed).
The words of the Head of Women’s Football, Domenico Aurelio: “After the holiday, we are getting ready for the beginning of a new and exciting season. We are back in Serie A and we are still proud to have got Parma back to where they deserve to be. But now the most difficult part is upon us: we mustn't stop or feel like we have made it, because the real goal is solidifying ourselves in a high-level competition. We will get back going with great enthusiasm, knowing we have great responsibility and very determined to work. All together, from the first to the last, to approach this new challenge the best as possible'.
