THE GROUP IS DOING WELL, WE'RE ALL WORKING TOGETHER

“The closer you get to the end of the season, the smaller the margins. The size of the pitch remains the same. It's about what we do, what we convey, our attitude. The rest doesn't matter. We must focus on what needs to be done on the pitch. Live the game, play with enthusiasm and enjoy the moment. It's still only a game of football. The team? The group are doing well, everyone is available. Everyone is involved, even those not selected. Osorio and Circati? I see their performances, attitudes and aptitude in both matches and training. Balogh has returned after the international break in good condition. Delprato will be central, Valenti a little deeper. Whoever else plays must always have the same commitment and desire to work together both defensively and offensively'.

“Venezia-Cremonese? Non serve a nulla sapere il risultato prima, ne prendiamo atto. La partita è la nostra ed è domani, la vera partita è quella. Non so fino a che punto condizioneranno il nostro risultato. Ma lo spirito, la voglia di giocare, la voglia di fare gol e di essere protagonisti deve essere sempre la stessa. Conta solo la partita nostra, non siamo nelle condizioni di poter fare dei calcoli, siamo invece nelle condizioni di andare a giocare la partita sul campo con forza ed entusiasmo. Dobbiamo pensare solo a quello. Siamo nelle condizioni diverse dall’anno scorso, dove eravamo condizionati dai risultati degli altri”.

THE TEAM'S MOMENTUM

“Slowing down? I'm not interested in what others say, I don't let myself be too influenced by numbers. I see the lads, they are in good health, and playing well. They are solid, compact and creating chances. We must continue as so. Goals? I don't calculate the short-term figures. If you calculate the last 8 or even 20 matches, you get different figures. It depends on how you want to see it. We've created many opportunities and it's also clear we must be more careful in certain situations. We need to have more determination when we find ourselves in key areas. I'm happy that everyone is available. This demonstrates the hard work put in by the boys, even those not selected. This allows me to face this final push, with games in a short space of time, with a fully fit squad to pick from.
