Noceto, 14 February 2026 – Parma coach Giovanni Valenti spoke on the eve of the upcoming clash:

“I’ve seen real awareness within the group since the Sassuolo match. We know we played well for the first 30 minutes and then dropped below our usual standards. There’s a strong desire to return to our typical level of quality. So far in 2026 we’ve delivered good performances against AC Milan, Juventus and Roma. Sometimes you can have an off half and unfortunately that happened against Sassuolo, but that hunger to bounce back has given us great energy. The difference in results against teams above and below us in the table? It’s something to analyse. Against Genoa we played very well but didn’t win, and we earned a solid draw away to Ternana on a difficult pitch. Against the top sides, apart from Juventus, we’ve taken points off all of them — that shows we can compete. Inter? On paper they are extremely strong and come into this match on a run of ten straight wins. Right now, they’re probably the most in-form team in the league. They mainly play a 3-5-2, and they have quality in every position, including off the bench. In possession they’re very mobile, they flood the box with numbers and are dangerous even from the goalkeeper’s long distribution. They have many strengths and are coached by someone I rate highly. We’ll need to approach the game with creativity, enjoy the challenge, show courage and find our magic.
