Noceto, 31 January 2026 – Head coach Giovanni Valenti’s comments on the eve of Parma vs. Roma:

“The week began with a bit of disappointment after the result against Juventus, but we channelled that into positive energy, and the girls worked well and with lots of intensity.

Looking back at the match against Juventus, beyond the result, we put on a good display. There were moments when we managed to control the match well and create chances; unfortunately, when we were doing the best, the second goal came. So there are still these positives that give us confidence ahead of the clash with Roma, a great team who are at the top of the table.

We’re preparing for the game by analysing an opponent who can often change systems. At the same time, we’re very aware of our own strengths. Our aim is to try to pick up points against everyone: we want to go into this match in the best way possible.

Unlucky situations? We feel we’re due a bit of luck, but it’s up to us to find that spark and really get going.

Gueguen and Skrzypczak’s debuts? They are very important for us, and we have a lot of confidence in both of them. Additionally, we have many talented players we are following who are training with the First Team, thanks to the excellent work of the youth sector, led by Pangrazi and Nicoli.”
