Parma Calcio Women’s preparations for their first official fixture continue: on 13 August, at the Granamica Sports Centre, the Gialloblù faced Bologna Women in their third pre-season friendly.
Parma started strong, taking the lead in the 8th minute: Esteve’s assist set up Pinther, who was sharp in front of goal. Just minutes later, in the 16th minute, Pinther doubled the lead after an excellent pass from Bou. Parma remained in control for the rest of the first half, which ended in the 45th minute with yet another goal from Pinther to complete her hat-trick, this time thanks to a perfectly timed low cross from Marta Cardona. 0-3 to the away side at halftime.
In the second half, the pace dropped considerably, with tired legs and the heat taking their toll. Bologna came close in the 65th minute when Marengoni’s long-range strike hit the crossbar. The second half gave way to few chances, and Ambrosi and her teammates secured their third win of the season with a strong performance.
