Parma, 4 March 2026 – The Ernesto Ceresini Museum, located inside the Stadio Ennio Tardini, hosted an evening of dialogue and discussion focused on the Club’s strategic vision and its role within the economic and social fabric of the local community.
The event brought together Parma Calcio and members of Rotary Club Parma, part of the wider Rotary International network of professionals and entrepreneurs committed to community development and service. The meeting provided an opportunity to reflect on governance, sustainability and long-term vision, as well as the social role a football club can play both on and off the pitch.
Taking part in the discussion were Gialloblu CEO Federico Cherubini and Andrea Pernice, Rotary Public Image Coordinator and a Club partner through the Pernice company, who spoke before an audience of more than 50 Rotary Club Parma members.
Opening the evening was Rotary Club Parma President Sara Rainieri.
“As members of the Rotary Club, we enjoy building relationships in contexts where we can take action. Tonight represents the ideal setting: Parma Calcio is a pillar of the social fabric of our city, with ambitious projects. We are proud of Parma’s team and the Rotary Club shares its values. Sport is a tool for education and for opening ourselves to the world, as well as a business model.”
Andrea Pernice highlighted the symbolic and cultural significance of the event:
“I’m delighted to be here this evening in a city I love deeply. It’s quite emotional to be in such a place — a magical and iconic venue of Italian football. Football and Parma are an economic and cultural reference point, a shared heritage that can encourage us to broaden our perspective.”
During the discussion, CEO Federico Cherubini outlined Parma Calcio’s strategic direction, addressing both the Club’s short- and long-term vision, its structural growth path and the objectives guiding its managerial and sporting decisions.
“It’s wonderful to open the doors of our home to initiatives like this,” said Cherubini. “I would like to thank the ownership and Rotary Club Parma for making this meeting possible. One of the aspects I want to emphasise is the relationship between competitiveness and sustainability — two concepts many people believe cannot coexist, yet that is precisely the direction we are pursuing.
“At the same time, we must continue to strengthen our bond with the local area, a community with a strong sense of belonging that can also help us identify young talents to develop within our youth sector.”
