PARMA CALCIO AND THE CONSORZIO DEL PROSCIUTTO DI PARMA DEMONSTRATE THEIR COMMITMENT TO THE REGION

Parma, 30 April 2025 – The partnership between Parma Calcio and the Consorzio del Prosciutto di Parma continues, a collaboration that celebrates and promotes two institutions representing the region.


This bond was further strengthened by a special initiative during the Parma vs Juventus match, on Matchday 33 of the Serie A championship, which was a significant testament to this valuable collaboration.


On the occasion of the match, in the ‘Prosciutto di Parma Legends’ hospitality area inside the Stadio Ennio Tardini, a special event was organised just before kick-off to celebrate the continuity of the partnership with a symbolic exchange of gifts between Parma Calcio and the Consortium: on the one hand, the Club's official shirts and, on the other, the prized Prosciutti di Parma. The institutional moment was made even more memorable by the presence of three Gialloblu legends - Fabio Cannavaro, Hernán Crespo and Lilian Thuram - who took part in the event and then spent time with the guests, giving them photo opportunities and autographs.


The partnership continues to play a leading role this season, with the naming of the hospitality area ‘Prosciutto di Parma Legends’, which will be available for all home matches of the men's first team. This exclusive space is dedicated to hosting the club's legends and offers tastings of Prosciutto di Parma, a product that symbolises the local gastronomic heritage. The aim is to offer an experience that combines sport, tradition and the local area, creating a unique opportunity for guests to get involved.


The Consorzio del Prosciutto di Parma also continues to support Parma Calcio in the Parma Lands project, of which it is an Official Partner. The initiative is dedicated to promoting the values and history of the Club in the Parma area and province, with the aim of strengthening the sense of belonging and local sporting culture.

Founded in 1963, the Consorzio del Prosciutto di Parma aims to protect and promote Prosciutto di Parma, guaranteeing the quality of a product that is symbolic of Italian food. It manages the protection of production rules and the ‘Prosciutto di Parma’ (Ducal Crown) trademark, registered in around 90 countries. The Consortium represents 127 companies located in the production area and is committed to preserving the traditional production method, protected by the European Union as a PDO product.
