MEN'S FIRST TEAM: 6 GIALLOBLU CALLED UP FOR INTERNATIONAL DUTY

Collecchio, October 6, 2025 - Six gialloblu players have been selected to represent their national teams, including Benjamin Cremaschi for the U20 World Cup with the USA.

 

  • SASCHA BRITSCHGI First call-up to the Switzerland U21 national team for the Gialloblu right winger, who has made his debut in both the Coppa Italia (1 app., 1 goal) and Serie A (2 apps.). Switzerland will play the qualifiers for the next European Championship against Iceland (Friday, October 10, Lucerne) and Faroe Islands (Tuesday, October 14, Torshavn).

 

  • ALESSANDRO CIRCATI A double friendly for Circati's Australia, who have already qualified for the next World Cup. The Gialloblu defender, who wore the captain's armband in the last match, will face Canada in Montreal on October 10 and the USA in Denver on October 14.

 

  • BENJAMIN CREMASCHI The captain of the USA U20 national team, he and his team have already secured their spot in the round of 16 at the U20 World Cup in Chile. On Thursday, October 9, at the El Teniente Stadium in Rancagua (21:30 CEST), Benja will face Nunziata's Italy - almost like a derby for him given his Italian roots.  

 

  • ELIA PLICCO and NICOLAS TRABUCCHI The Gialloblu midfielder and defender have been called up the U19 Italian team for a double game against Scotland in the International Tournament. The first match will be in Campobasso on October 10 and the second in Isernia on October 13.


  • ZION SUZUKI With qualification already secured, Japan continues its World Cup preparations with a series of high-profile friendlies. For Zion, a regular starter for his national team, the first match will be against Paraguay in Osaka on October 10, followed by a clash with Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazil in Tokyo on October 14, a fixture that could serve as a preview of the next World Cup.
