MATTIA NOTARI WINS THE “MAURIZIO MAESTRELLI 2025” AWARD

Cassino, 12 May 2025 – Mattia Notari, Parma Calcio Youth Sector coordinator, has won the prestigious Maurizio Maestrelli 2025 Award.

The awards ceremony was held in the fantastic setting of the Teatro Manzoni in Cassio and it was lead, like normal, by Rai Sport journalists Jacopo Volpi and Simona Rolandi.

The Award, named in memory of Maurizio Maestrelli - a huge youth football lover and son of the late former Lazio manager Tommaso Maestrelli - is awarded to 13 people each year that stand out, not only for results achieved, but also for their professionalism, fair play and honesty.

There were also many other people within the Italian sporting world awarded in this year's edition:

Federica Cappelletti (Women's Serie A President), Giovanni Manna (Napoli Sporting Director), Marco Baroni (Lazio manager), Nicolo Rovella (Lazio player), Franco Selvaggi (1982 world champion) and Floriano Noto (Catanzaro President).

Throughout the course of the evening, the 16 squads taking part in the 17th edition of the Lazio Cup were also revealed. The tournament is exclusive to Under-17s sides, and Parma Calcio will be attending with Mattia Bernardi in charge of our group.

For Notari, fresh off seeing the Primavera squad promoted to Primavera 1, it is an important recognition that reflects his work in guiding the Gialloblu youth, which are a stronger point of reference on a national scale than ever before.

Mattia Notari's words: 'I would like to express my sincere gratitude for this prestigious award, that I consider to be not only a personal, but above all a recognition to the work of the team and our collective dedication. I share this award with all those, often away from the limelight, who crucially contribute to the growth of our players: from the managers to coaches, from secretaries to psychologists, and to everyone that, with somewhat discretion and passion, put time and effort into the Youth Sector. This prize is from everyone's hard work, with the objective of helping our young players in their journey of growth in sport, and as a human being. This is why I want to share it with every person who day in day out, with their graft and passion, make this all possible.'

Parma Calcio congratulates Notari for this important award and for the excellent work he is doing a the Youth Sector coordinator.
