Parma, 15 August 2025- Parma Calcio can confirm the permanent signing of Matija Frigan from Koninklijke Voetbal Club Westerlo. The player has signed a contract lasting until 30 June 2030.

Born in Rijeka, Croatia, in 2003, Matija has played 137 matches in his professional career, across four clubs. He made his debut in the Europa League with HNK Rijeka, featured in the Champions League qualifiers, and has represented Croatia at U18, U19, and U21 level. 

But above all, he is a forward with a single aim in mind: scoring. He has already scored 42 times, 20 of them for KVC Westerlo. Whether it be leading the line as a central striker or operating from wide, his striking instinct is undeniable. 

From today, that instinct will be represented in the Gialloblù colours.
