Parma, 25 March 2026 – Matija Frigan underwent surgery this morning following an injury to the medial meniscus in his left knee. The operation was carried out in Bologna, in the presence of the medical staff of Parma Calcio 1913, and was successful.

The player will begin his rehabilitation programme tomorrow, aimed at returning to competitive action, and his condition will be monitored on a daily basis.

“I’m really disappointed by this latest small setback. It’s a painful moment, but I have to accept it as part of the journey,” commented Frigan. “Inside me, however, there’s even more determination than before: I can’t wait to make a full recovery, return to the pitch and give everything for this team. I’m fired up, motivated and ready to work every day to get back to 100% and contribute alongside my teammates.”
