“We lost against a very strong team. Atalanta are one of the best sides in Serie A and, against opponents like that, you have to do everything perfectly. We got a few things wrong, and that’s normal – it happens in football, just like it happens in life. There were also things we did well, but now we'll approach the coming week with our heads down, with confidence and humility.

We need to raise the level in training and work every day to improve on these aspects. I hope we’ll do better next week: sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. We are a family, we are a team, we’re very strong mentally and we’re mature. This defeat will hurt for the first few days, but it will encourage us to work harder to improve every day. The coach and the staff will help us a lot, and I think this week will be very important for us. We have to learn from this defeat.

Today hurts, because we always want to win, but you can’t win every match. The table? We don’t look at it. We work hard to win and try to perform well in every game, so we look ahead, keep working with our heads down and continue to stay united as a family, as we always have.
