Parma, January 17, 2026 – Before the event inaugurating the new ‘Enrico Serafino’ Lounge at the Ennio Tardini Stadium, President Kyle J. Krause wanted to share his memories of Rocco Commisso.

“Before we begin this wonderful evening, I think it’s right, especially before tomorrow’s match, to take a moment to remember Rocco Commisso. Rocco was a friend, someone I had known for many years, and I had the good fortune of getting to know him even better when I had the opportunity to acquire Parma Calcio. You all know Rocco. Rocco was simply Rocco. He was very straightforward, with strong ideas and convictions, but always a friend. It was always a pleasure to talk to him. My memories of Rocco, in terms of football, are of someone warm, open, and always willing to help, giving advice like a true friend. But Rocco existed beyond just football. He immigrated to America as a young man and became very successful. Rocco represents one of the finest examples of the opportunities life can offer to those who move abroad in search of a better future. This is what we should remember: what Rocco did for us, the opportunities he seized, and how he gave back, returning to Italy. At this moment, all our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.”
