Collecchio, 26 December 2025 - Carlos Cuesta spoke during the press conference ahead of Matchday 17 of Serie A, on which Parma will face Fiorentina. It took place in the press room in the Mutti Training Centre in Collecchio.

TURNING DISAPPOINTMENT INTO DETERMINATION

“Facing Fiorentina? We need to turn the disappointment from the match against Lazio into something positive to take onto the pitch. That feeling has to fuel our determination and help us push for the result we want, with the desire to give our fans something to be happy about. We know Fiorentina’s qualities, but we have to stay focused on what we need to do and on the situations that are under our control. It will be an important match for both teams, and we must stay sharp to try to steer it our way.”

SQUAD CONDITION AND CALL-UPS

“Circati and Delprato will be included in the squad. Suzuki, Frigan and Ndiaye, who have been out long-term, will not be available.”

BUILDING AND IMPROVING

“We need to consolidate the positive things we’re doing, but also take another step forward. In training over the past few days, we’ve focused on areas where we believe we can improve: solidity, staying compact as a team both in attack and defence, and the ability to score in matches, even in situations we’re not usually comfortable with. We’re working on it and making progress, but we need greater consistency and sharper focus on the small details that make the difference in the final third”

ATTACKING THREAT

“We want to increase our threat in attack. Ondrejka and Oristanio can really help us in that respect. Every player in my squad is unique and brings something special.”

KEITA AND DRIBBLING
