Collecchio, 4 March 2025 – A special afternoon took place in the press room of the Mutti Training Center, where 25 children born in 2015 from local football club Il Cervo experienced life as journalists for a day during a new stage of the Gialloblu Youth Reporters initiative.
The project, dedicated to younger fans, offers the opportunity to discover the world of Parma Calcio 1913 up close, giving participants access to the Club’s facilities and the chance to meet members of both the men’s and women’s First Teams.
The session was hosted by Hans Nicolussi Caviglia, who spoke openly and enthusiastically with the young participants. The children asked numerous questions about his career path, from his early years in youth football to his arrival in the First Team, as well as curiosities about training sessions, the adrenaline of scoring a goal and the emotions felt before stepping onto the pitch in front of thousands of supporters.
“As a child, I dreamed of becoming a footballer and I worked every day to try to make that dream come true. I started out in a small village in the Aosta Valley,” Nicolussi Caviglia explained. “The most important thing is to enjoy yourselves and always believe in what you are doing.”
The midfielder added: “When I was your age, my coaches taught me that the most important thing is to have the right attitude in training and never to lose your imagination and creativity when you play. Keep playing with enthusiasm.”
The conversation was lively and interactive, with the young players from Il Cervo asking questions with great excitement as they stepped into the role of reporters for the day.
At the end of the press conference, Nicolussi Caviglia signed personalised cards and greeted the children, leaving them with the memory of an engaging and educational afternoon inside the home of Parma Calcio.
