Collecchio, 23 January 2026 – An afternoon spent getting to know Annahita Zamanian, both on and off the pitch, and experiencing a proper press conference. A special initiative took place in the press room of the Mutti Training Center, featuring students from class 3A of the Istituto Comprensivo Via Montebello, “Don Milani” campus.
The young students took part in the second edition of Gialloblu Youth Reporters, an educational project structured around a series of press conferences involving groups of children aged six to ten. The meetings allow primary school students to visit Parma Calcio’s facilities, get a close look at the world of the Club, and engage with the values of sport through the stories and experiences of footballers, closing out the session with a moment of togetherness.
The special guest for this event was Annahita Zamanian, midfielder for Parma Calcio Women, who spoke candidly and enthusiastically, answering lots of questions from the young “journalists.” They were keen to know Zamanian’s sporting journey, with lots of questions on how to become a professional footballer, her favorite team, and her preferred jersey number, as well as broader topics such as equality in sport.
During the session, Zamanian addressed questions on the comparison between men’s and women’s football with sensitivity and insight: 'It’s not fair to make comparisons: we play with the same passion, and in this there is no difference,' she explained, emphasising that the focus should often be more on the football itself.
In discussing visibility and opportunities, the footballer added, 'The women’s football movement is growing. You guys are very important for the future: embody equality through your choices.'
The press conference ended with a simple but meaningful moment when Zamanian asked the children about inclusive football at school, encouraging honest answers, smiles, and personal stories. This genuine dialogue gave way to a positive message of sharing and respect.
At the end of the meeting, Zamanian signed personalised cards for all the young journalists, giving the young students a memorable afternoon full of emotions and food for thought.
This memorable event with Zamanian forms part of the “Classe Gialloblu” project, which involves nine schools, 29 classes, and 637 students this season. The aim is to introduce children to the world of sports, particularly women’s football, through a series of dedicated events with Parma Calcio Women players. The initiative has been very successful and is supported by attendance at home matches at the “Noce” stadium in Noceto, as well as drawings and projects created by the students themselves.
The full video of the press conference is now available on the Club’s official YouTube channel.
