I BELIEVE IN THIS PROJECT

“I was expecting this transfer because it was a possibility. I chose Parma because I believe in the project and because the Club has a great history, you don't need me to tell you that. I obviously had other options but I chose to come here. I'd like to thank the Club, I believe in the project and the ideas. I am really happy to be here. Differences with Venezia? Every Coach and Club have their differences. Additionally, every Coach has their own way of thinking, they have their own way of doing things, therefore, I won't speak about difference, but I will mention the different characteristics that each Coach has, all here'.

READY TO HELP THE TEAM

“I won't speak about my favourite roles, because I don't like to speak about this. I play where I am needed, where the Coach needs me, so, I am ready for the team whenever, which is the most important thing. Obviously, I prefer to start on the right and come in, but during my brief career, I've played a number of roles, as an attacker, winger and playmaker. Therefore, I won't talk about roles but more about the demands of the team and Coach. Dribbling is one of my main assets. I think of myself as someone who is ready to help the team, when we need to defend, we defend together, because the important thing is to know when to alternate phases, it's one of the most important things. Other than dribbling and going forward, I can also say that I like to help out in defence when we're under pressure. In the match, there might be times when we need to defend and I think that I do this well. My objective? Get as many assists and goals as possible, I don't want to give an exact number, but it is important, because an assist or goal can bring points. The important thing is the performance, therefore, I start from that and I put everything I have into the game'.

CUESTA'S ENERGY, AN EXCITING DEBUT

“Cuesta has an infectious energy and positivity. He didn't give me technical or tactical tips, but the right push to go on and do well with the right energy and positivity to play, take risks and go after the ball. These are the main things that he told me. I arrived a few days before, so, on a tactical level, there wasn't much to say. I was ready, I am always ready when I'm available. It doesn't make a difference if I start or come off the bench, the important thing is to always be ready. It was an exciting debut. The stadium was rocking, you could really feel it. Making my debut like this was something special. Making your debut is always special, but even more special in this match because the fans kept us going right until the end. It was a great match from which we could've even got something more'.

NATIONAL TEAM DREAM, BUT THINKING ABOUT THE PRESENT

“The National Team is everyone's dream, but I'm thinking about doing well, nothing else at the moment. I think about the now and then will think about the future'.

LEARNING EXPERIENCE IN HOLLAND

“I was very young when I went to Holland, I was 17-18 years old, it was a learning experience, because leaving Italy is not always the easiest thing, especially when you've grown up in an important Youth Sector like that of Inter's. It's never easy leaving your home country and facing a whole new style of football, culture and having to learn a new language. But, it was really helpful, I'd advise any youngster to have the courage to leave Italy, learn about new cultures and then return to Italy much more ready. Sebastiano Esposito? We speak a lot because we've been friends since our time at Inter. We haven't spoke about teams, we see each other in different teams and then we will see what the future holds, but we're both happy for now. I can only say: we haven't spoken about team or the future'.
