Milano, 22 February, 2026 - Forward Gabriel Strefezza spoke after the win against Milan on matchday 26 of Serie A.
“The atmosphere in the dressing room was great because coming here to San Siro, facing Milan and winning 1-0 is never easy. We had to suffer, we had to run, we gave everything and we deserved the win. We played exactly the kind of game the coach wanted, and afterwards the celebrations were fantastic. It was a special feeling. I didn’t expect to start like this, but it’s been incredible. Three wins out of three, playing our football and doing what the coach asks of us. We’re a young team, I’m one of the older ones, and I try to use my experience to help the younger players as much as I can. I wanted to play more and show what I’m capable of. Everything is going really well, but it’s not over yet. We want to give Parma’s fans more moments like this. I did well in Greece, but I wanted more minutes. When Parma called, I didn’t hesitate. I wanted to prove myself again and play regularly. This is the right place for me. We’ve done well in these first three matches, and now we have to keep that momentum going. Survival? We haven’t achieved anything yet. We’re taking it one game at a time. Nothing is secured mathematically. We just need to keep working and keep improving. When survival is confirmed, then we can talk about it. It’s an amazing feeling, it was my first win at San Siro against Milan. The celebrations in the dressing room were incredible. Winning here is special. We’ll enjoy tonight, and from tomorrow we focus on Cagliari. Three games, three wins? We’re happy with the nine points, but we have to keep pushing and not take our foot off the gas.”
