Parma, 10 September 2025 -There’s an invisible thread that ties a city to its team. A bond that is greater than results, victories, and defeats. Passion for sport isn’t just about the desire to win; it’s a deep sense of our identity, belonging, and community.
It is this spirit that, for the seventh year running, has inspired “Forma la tua Passione,” Parma Calcio’s project to welcome children from Parma and the Parma area on their first day of primary school, including children from the surrounding twelve municipalities, by giving them the Club’s jersey. A simple gesture, but one of great symbolic value: nearly 1,800 Year One Pupils will don the Gialloblù colours, strengthening a bond right from the start that is destined to only get stronger throughout their lives.
The initiative, in partnership with Main Partner Parmalat and Sleeve Partner Crédit Agricole Italia, has now become a tradition: a rite of passage, a gesture of welcome that stays with children not just as they begin school, but also as they discover what it means to be part of a community and a sporting history. Wearing the Parma jersey means learning to love the city and its surroundings, to share common values, and to see themselves as part of a bigger family.
“Forma la tua Passione” is so much more than just an initiative: it’s a gesture that serves as a reminder that football loyalty is greater than what happens on the pitch, it’s a bond that is passed on and experienced every day. With this project, Parma Calcio strengthens its commitment to being close to the local community and to younger generations, demonstrating that football, above all, is about sharing and belonging.
