eFEMMINILE, AN IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE FOR PARMA ESPORTS IN GENOA

Parma, 27 June 2025 - From 20 to 22 June, Parma Esports took part in the Final 6 of the eFemminile competition, held during the LND Genova Gaming Week 2k25 at the Centro Esplace - Pi@zz@ Digitale in the Magazzini del Cotone, located in Porto Antico, Genoa. The event, organised by the FIGC Lega Nazionale Dilettanti, brought together virtual football, education, tradition and inclusion in a rich programme of tournaments and activities, which also featured the national finals of Subbuteo, Pro Club, competitive table football (Calcio Tavolo) and Calcio Balilla (foosball).

Representing Parma Esports in the eFemminile category was Giusy “RedMagghy” Capuano, who had an excellent regular season, finishing third in the group with 30 points. RedMagghy then qualified for the final phase and, with the support of coach Efy, overcame F.C. Sambenedettese in the playoffs. This was RedMagghy’s first experience in a live final, marking an important milestone in her competitive journey. Despite being eliminated in the first round and finishing fifth overall, the experience was valuable in consolidating the growth of Parma Esports’ female project in EA SPORTS FC25.

Over the weekend, alongside the eFemminile competition, the Italy Women’s eCup was also held – featuring international participation from Portuguese player Raquel Martinho (Porto) – as well as the eCup eFemminile, a tournament similar to the traditional Coppa Italia. It involved some of the strongest female gamers on the national scene, including Flavia Scorrano (Vesta), Giulia Ratto (Palermo), Roberta Zurli (Arezzo), Vanessa Peersmans (Angelo Baiardo) and Maddalena Piras (Trastevere).

The following teams took part in the Final 6:

  • Palermo eSports
  • Trastevere eSports Femminile
  • Angelo Baiardo
  • Vesta eSports Femminile
  • Arezzo 1923
