EDOARDO CORVI: “AN AFTERNOON TO REMEMBER, A DREAM COME TRUE”

Verona, 23 November 2025 – Edoardo Corvi commented after Hellas Verona vs. Parma, matchday 12 of the Serie A Enilive 2025/26.

It was a great debut, and I’m delighted for the team as we take home all three points. It was an afternoon to remember, a dream come true. We hope to continue like this. I work all week to make sure I’m prepared. Suzuki? I’m upset for Zion because we’ve lost an important player. I wish him a speedy recovery. I’m also happy to have met an experienced goalkeeper like Vicente (Guaita), who has already given me some advice. He’s here to help me, too, and I’m glad he’s part of the squad.

My debut? I was, and still am, a calm guy, and that’s what my experience today was. I stayed positivethroughout the week, played the match in my head, and imagined the moves that could happen. I’ve accomplished one of my dreams: playing for the team of my city, the team my heart belongs to.

These two weeks felt long because of the international break in between. With the friendly (against Mantova), I tried to prepare with today’s match in mind. Vicente’s arrival has been a positive one; he’s already given me advice, and I’m happy to have him by my side.

Yes, let’s say it’s been a good week (laughs). And at the end of the match, it was wonderful to feel the support of the group.”
