“We are coming into the match against Lazio in good shape, facing them for the second time in such a short period. We’ll make some adjustments in how we interpret certain tactical situations, but we go into the game with confidence after a solid performance in Rome, despite the negative result, and with the desire to reach a big milestone for us, advancing to the next round.

Returning to the Tardini will be exciting: we hope the fans turn out in large numbers to support the team and help them put in a great performance. For me, it will be my debut in a Coppa Italia Round of 16 match. I’m excited and eager to play these kinds of games, which are the best part of our sport.

The season so far has been positive. I think we could have had a few more points given our performances, but the girls are fully committed to the project. The team as a whole is progressing: we know there are areas of our game that can improve, but overall the balance is positive. Physically and mentally, we are ready for tomorrow’s match. The desire to perform well and play on the Tardini pitch on a day like this outweighs any fatigue. We want to bring a lot of energy to the field.”
