Parma, 11 June 2025 – Parma Calcio are proud that another member of the Gialloblu family will be heading to the 2026 World Cup, held across Canada, Mexico, and the US.

Alessandro Circati, is an authentic part of the Parma defence, and after a great start to the season, he took a forced break because of a serious injury. On his return, he became a true leader in the team and he has now sealed his ticket to the World Cup with Australia, thanks to their 2-1 win over Saudi Arabia. And despite being absent from the team for a little while, Circati was absolutely key in this latest round of qualifiers. He played a full 90 minutes against Japan, winning 1-0, having a great performance, proving his talent and leadership that he always shows with the Gialloblu.

It is an achievement that makes all of Parma proud. Following Zion Suzuki, who qualified with Japan, Circati will now also represent the Gialloblu on the biggest stage in world football.
