Parma, 10 December 2025 – A match marked by friendship and inclusion, a mini-tour of Piazza Duomo in Pisa, and, finally, a walk onto the pitch at the Cetilar Arena with a shirt swap and lap of honour to the applause of the fans. In short, this was the special day that Parma Special experienced in Pisa as the hosts took on Parma in Serie A Enilive.
The morning kicked off early with a friendly between the Special teams competing in the “4 Special” championship, featuring an enthusiastic showdown between Pisa Sporting Club and Parma Calcio 1913. Fun, play, and inclusion came together on the historic Abetone pitch, thanks to ASD Freccia Azzurra, who kindly provided the facilities. After the game, players enjoyed a shower, refreshments, and the gift of a Pisa scarf for all the Gialloblu participants. It was a morning full of smiles and hugs, followed by a visit to Piazza Duomo and culminating at the Cetilar Arena. Three representatives entered the pitch alongside the team captains and the referee, before a half-time shirt swap and a lap of honour to the applause of the crowd – simple, heartfelt moments that will stay with everyone involved.
For Parma Special, the spirit of sharing didn’t stop there. After the excitement on the pitch, another special moment followed: the Christmas lunch at Doppio Malto in Parma. A table full of smiles and hugs, with the entire team present, along with coach Stefano Cavalli, CEO Federico Cherubini, Institutional Communication Director Federica Lancini, and Football Paralympic Coordinator Emanuela Andronaco.
It was a genuine, heartfelt occasion, one that left a lasting impression. A time of togetherness that strengthened the sense of belonging and the strength of the group, because Parma Special is not just one of the Club’s official teams: it is one of the most authentic symbols of Parma Calcio, a project with a huge social impact that is invaluable to the entire community.
The lunch concluded with a short but meaningful speech from Federico Cherubini, who addressed the players with words full of pride, ending with warm holiday greetings. It was an emotional, almost family-like moment – a celebration within a celebration, reflecting inclusion, shared values, and the positive energy that has always made the Parma Special project so unique.
