“The takeaways from the game are clear: we listened to the coach’s instructions and played our game against Mantova. And we’ll aim to do the same in the next game against Verona. We’re working closely with Cuesta and following his guidance. I think we’re improving, and in the match against Milan, especially the second half, it was clear how much the group had improved. We’ll need to approach the fixture with Verona with the same mentality as we showed against Milan. What does playing alongside Hernani Jr mean to me? He’s an incredible player and an important part of the team; that’s the truth. Today we connected often in midfield, with him and with Ondre (Ondrejka). This style of building up in the midfield is crucial to how we want to play, so we need to continue developing that. Was the position I played against Mantova my preferred one? Yes, but I adapt to whatever the coach asks me. Right side, left side, it doesn’t matter. I’ll always give my all to the team.”
