CEO FEDERICO CHERUBINI: “FIVE YEARS OF PRESIDENT KRAUSE, A CONSTANT PRESENCE”

Collechio, 18 September 2025 – CEO Federico Cherubini’s comments came during the press conference for midfielder Benjamin Cremaschi at the Mutti Training Centre in Collecchio.

“It’s my pleasure to present our latest signing from the summer transfer window, on a special day for the Club. We wanted to take a moment to reflect, and, of course, thank our owner, who today, on September 18th, celebrates five years leading the Club. These five years have been marked by significant investment and unwavering support. We can sense the owner’s presence, even though he doesn’t live here, because we are in such regular contact. The President keeps track of and stays updated on all aspects of the Club, both sporting and non-sporting. The President has built a connection with the city; everyone sees him visiting local spots and really enjoying his time whenever he’s here. So, I think that this is an important moment, because these five years have laid the groundwork for so many projects that we are moving forward with and that the owner intends on developing, both on and off the pitch. I would like to also reflect on the most recent results; I think it’s a big honour for the Club to have all four of its squads competing at such high levels. By that I mean, the Men’s First Team, the Women’s First Team, and the two Primavera youth squads, who all play in the top national leagues. Furthermore, we recently had the pleasure of introducing, for the first time in Italian football, a second Women’s Team – an important step for the future. I’d also like to mention our Valorant team’s victory last year in the Esports championship, a competition that is quickly gaining traction.

I’d like to highlight the various initiatives that Parma Calcio is involved in, which connect us with many local organisations and institutions in the city. I am confident this commitment will remain, as long as Kyle J. Krause and the current ownership continue to lead Parma. Our connection to local organisations, to which we aim to give a voice and support, will always be one of our top priorities. Today’s conference, along with Cremaschi, is also very important because he is our first signing from the United States. Holding the conference today makes it all the more special. As I have said, Benjamin was the final signing of our summer transfer window, a process led by our entire sporting department, in particular Alessandro Pettinà and the scouting team under Mamo Notari, whom I want to thank for their outstanding work. Our squad now consists of eleven new players – two returning from loans and nine new arrivals. So, we held nine presentations in total, with Cutrone’s being organised independently as it wasn’t held here. He did it all himself – came onto the field, scored immediately and then spoke at the Tardini press conference. So, we held eight official presentations. This is a sign of the renewal of the squad, but at the same time the preservation of the values we deem important – a balance of experienced players and rising stars. One feature that set us apart is that we have players that span all five continents. This isn’t something you see in many other clubs, and it gives us a unique sense of multiculturalism that we take great pride in. I won’t take up any more of Benjamin’s time. I’d like to give him a warm welcome to Parma, and, of course, we expect great things from him. We are confident that he will live up to the Club’s trust!”
