Parma, 29 September 2026 – Alberto Gilardino is the new Head Coach of Parma Calcio 1913. The new Head Coach of the Men’s First Team has signed a contract until the end of the 2026/27 sporting season, with the Club holding an option to extend for a further two seasons.

A World Cup winner with Italy in 2006, Alberto Gilardino returns to Parma following his spell as a player, during which he was a key figure for several seasons between 2002 and 2005, making 116 appearances and scoring 56 goals in the Gialloblu shirt.

After bringing his long playing career to an end, he embarked on his coaching journey with Rezzato, Pro Vercelli, Genoa and Pisa, before becoming — today — the new head coach of Parma.
