PARMA CALCIO AND GDM ACADEMY TEAM UP TO TRAIN THE NEXT GENERATION OF SPORTS COMMUNICATORS

Parma Calcio will partner with GDM Academy over the coming weeks in a new collaboration focused on developing young talent in sports communication, with particular attention to the world of football.

The initiative aims to offer participants a complete professional training pathway in communication and digital media, culminating in a work placement opportunity within Parma Calcio’s Communication and Digital Department for the most suitable and deserving Academy student.

Throughout the course, students will also have the chance to visit the club’s facilities – including the Mutti Training Centre in Collecchio and the Stadio Ennio Tardini – and to contribute directly to editorial and communication projects during the current season.

Starting in mid-November, the GDM Academy (founded by Gianluca Di Marzio in collaboration with DEMA Academy) will offer a 36-hour programme running from 14 November to 6 December, with classes held on Fridays and Saturdays. The course will be available both in person and online, allowing participation from students across Italy.

With this initiative, Parma Calcio reaffirms its commitment to supporting young people and fostering the growth of new professionals who can play an active role in the club’s development — and in the wider sporting world — beyond the pitch.
