Parma, 12 October 2026 – Parma Calcio are delighted to announce the renewal of their partnership with BWT – Best Water Technology, which will continue as the Club’s Water Sustainability Partner for a fourth consecutive season, supporting hydration and helping to reduce the use of single-use containers.

One of Europe’s leading groups in the water treatment sector, BWT develops innovative technologies designed to improve the quality of drinking water while promoting increasingly responsible use of water resources through its mission, “Change the World, sip by sip”.

It is these shared values that have strengthened the partnership between Parma Calcio and BWT: a common vision centred on innovation, sustainability and the continuous improvement of the experience offered to players, staff, partners and supporters.

A NETWORK OF 21 WATER DISPENSERS

The BWT project now covers the Club’s headquarters, training centres, hospitality areas at the “Ennio Tardini” stadium and catering points, with a total of 21 water dispensers installed.

For the 2026/27 season, the partnership is being strengthened further with BWT solutions extended to new hospitality areas at the “Ennio Tardini”, bringing an increasingly sustainable approach to the spaces dedicated to sponsors, partner companies and Club guests.

The network of dispensers makes treated water available across Parma Calcio’s facilities, providing an alternative to single-use plastic and glass bottles in hospitality services for sponsors, guests and supporters.

The initiative is helping to progressively reduce the use of single-use containers and promote increasingly responsible practices in the Club’s daily operations.

The system is designed to meet both the day-to-day needs of the Club’s facilities and the demands of its hospitality and event spaces, providing the same water dispensing solution across a variety of settings.

18,000 LITRES OF WATER DISPENSED SINCE AUGUST

Initial figures from the current season highlight the growing use of the network. Since August 2026, 18,000 litres of water have been dispensed through the units installed across the facilities and areas included in the project.

At the Mutti Training Center headquarters, single-use plastic water bottles have not been provided to employees and staff for the past four seasons, with dedicated water dispensers now meeting their daily hydration needs.

Dispensed volumes will continue to be monitored throughout the season, enabling the Club to provide regular updates based on actual consumption.

The initiative forms part of the Club’s broader sustainability strategy and supports the goals of its Play Green programme and ISO 14001 environmental certification, encouraging more responsible practices and greater environmental awareness across the Gialloblù community

THE PROJECT EXTENDS TO YOUTH SECTOR EVENTS

The partnership also plays a role in events organised by Parma Calcio’s Youth Sector and Academy. At tournaments such as the Copa Crozada, the Club uses BWT AQA Drink Catering dispensers, extending its treated-water solutions to sporting events as well as its permanent facilities.

The dispensers allow water to be provided directly on site, reducing the need for single-use containers in the areas where the system is in use.

From the Mutti Training Center to the new hospitality areas at the ‘Tardini’, the partnership continues to evolve, bringing together high standards of hospitality, innovation and environmental responsibility.
