Parma, 20 September 2026 – Parma claimed their first league win of the season with a 2-1 victory over Genoa, thanks to goals from Romero and Almqvist. Romero broke the deadlock in the first half in fine style, beating two defenders before drilling a superb diagonal finish into the net. Parma also came close to doubling their lead shortly before the interval, with El Bilal Toure narrowly missing the target with a header. Genoa drew level after the break through Osmajic, who made no mistake when through one-on-one with Corvi. The decisive moment, however, came from Almqvist. Bursting past his marker at pace, he kept his composure and finished with his left foot to secure all three points for Parma.

Next up for Parma is a trip to Milano to face Inter on Saturday 10 October at 18:00, in Matchday 6 of Serie A Enilive.
