GIOVANNI FABBIAN AND VINCENT SIERRO PRESENTED AT THE STADIO TARDINI

Parma, 11 September 2026 – Giovanni Fabbian and Vincent Sierro spoke during their official presentation press conference in the press room at the Stadio Ennio Tardini. They were accompanied by Martina, who is involved in the All Inclusive project.

“I felt the confidence of the Club and the coach from the very beginning, and I’m delighted with the decision I made,” said Giovanni Fabbian. “I’m a midfielder who likes to get forward, but my main responsibility is to help the team play well. If the goals come too, I’ll be happy. Playing as an attacking midfielder? I can also operate in a deeper role. What matters is being ready to help the coach and my teammates however I can.

“Over the past few years, I’ve also had the honour of playing in European competitions. Those were valuable experiences that I’ll try to draw on to help the team. We are a young group and need to use our youth to bring energy. We have everything required to do well.

“Como are a strong side, but we are working hard and will give everything to come away with the win. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Dino Baggio. He is a role model for me and a source of pride for Veneto. It’s wonderful to be at the club where he enjoyed such a great career.”

“When Parma’s project was presented to me, I was immediately impressed. This is a Club that wants to grow and establish itself, and I’m delighted to be here,” continued Vincent Sierro. “I feel good physically and am working to regain match sharpness. I’m also very happy with the enthusiasm I’ve found in the dressing room. We have potential and quality, and as we find the right balance and develop our understanding week after week, I’m confident that we can pick up points against anyone.

“On the pitch, I want to set the tempo and help organise the team while doing whatever the coach asks of me. My experience in Saudi Arabia was positive, but the league there places greater emphasis on individual quality, whereas I identify more with a collective approach. That is another reason why Parma’s project convinced me.

“Returning to Europe also gives me an opportunity to put myself back in contention for the national team. Representing Switzerland is an honour, and I want to use the experience I have gained to help my teammates as well.

“The birth of my daughter? It’s a magical time in my life. I can’t wait for her and my partner to join me in Parma, and I’m sure this will be a wonderful experience.”
