SIMONE GHIDOTTI AND DIEGO CARLOS PRESENTED AT THE STADIO TARDINI

Parma, 10 September 2026Simone Ghidotti and Diego Carlos spoke during their official presentation press conference in the press room at the Stadio Ennio Tardini. They were accompanied by young Pietro, who is involved in the All Inclusive project.

“I’m delighted to be here. This is a great opportunity for me to continue developing and a tremendous honour, especially when I think of the goalkeepers who have worn this shirt in the past,” said Simone Ghidotti. “I already knew Pavarini, and he continues to give me plenty of advice on how to train and which areas I need to improve. He also played a key role in my move here.

“The Parma vs. Sampdoria friendly was particularly exciting because I was already aware of Parma’s interest in me. I know where I stand in the goalkeeping hierarchy, and my aim is to give my all every day so that I’m ready whenever the team needs me.”

“I’m delighted to be here. I chose Parma because of the project that was presented to me,” continued Diego Carlos. “We are all focused on doing well in this shirt. Como are our next opponents, and we are studying them carefully so that we can prepare properly and approach the game in the best way possible. A win is just as important to them as it is to us, and I’m confident that we can come away with points.

“The season has only just begun, and we have picked up one point so far. Of course we are ambitious, but we need to take things one game at a time and remain focused on the next challenge.

“I’m used to playing in different defensive systems. The decision is up to the coach, and our job is to be ready to operate in any setup. Personally, I need to do everything I can to help the team concede as few goals as possible.

“I was pleased to be involved straight away against Monza and to have the opportunity to play. We analysed the match, looking at what we did well and the areas in which we still need to improve.”
