Parma, 1 September 2026 – Parma Calcio 1913 announces the signing of Diego Carlos Santos Silva from Fenerbahçe SK on loan.

Born in 1993 in Barra Bonita, Brazil, Diego Carlos began his footballing development in his home country before moving to Europe in 2014 to join GD Estoril Praia. Following his spell in Portugal, he moved to Nantes in 2016, where he spent three seasons before joining Sevilla. During his time with the Spanish club, he won the UEFA Europa League in the 2019/20 season and made more than 100 appearances.

In 2022, he joined Aston Villa in the Premier League before moving to Fenerbahçe in January 2025. During the 2025/26 season, he spent the campaign on loan at Como, making 27 Serie A appearances and scoring one goal.

At international level, Diego Carlos represented Brazil and won the gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, which were held in 2021.
