GIOVANNI DAFFARA JOINS PARMA CALCIO

Parma, 1 July 2026 – Parma Calcio 1913 can confirm the permanent signing of Giovanni Daffara from Juventus FC. The goalkeeper has signed a contract with the Gialloblu until 30 June 2031.

Born in 2004, Daffara came through Juventus' youth academy, where he completed his footballing development. He gained his first taste of professional football with Juventus Next Gen, showcasing his personality, reliability and quality between the posts.

During the 2025/26 season, he spent the campaign on loan at Avellino, making 25 Serie B appearances and keeping three clean sheets. He established himself as one of the division's most promising young goalkeepers, helping the newly promoted side secure a place in the promotion play-offs.

His arrival reflects the Club's investment in young, talented players with significant potential, fully in line with Parma's long-term sporting project.

Waiting to welcome Giovanni on his arrival at the Mutti Training Center was Diego, a 10-year-old boy who, through the support of the All Inclusive project, which promotes sport as a tool for personal growth, had the opportunity to greet Parma's new goalkeeper on behalf of the entire Club and the city of Parma.

'I'm delighted to become part of the Parma Calcio family. I've found a Club with a clear vision; their project convinced me from the very beginning. This is a fantastic opportunity for me and I'll give everything to continue developing and to help the team. I can't wait to begin this new adventure and meet the Gialloblu fans.'

Welcome to Parma, Giovanni!
