MUSEUM CLUB EXPERIENCE: A SEASON OF CONNECTION, INCLUSION AND SHARED EXPERIENCES COMES TO A CLOSE

Parma, 25 May 2026 – The last edition of the Museum Club Experience took place on the occasion of Parma vs Sassuolo, the final match of the season that ended 1-0 to the Gialloblu. The initiative, promoted by Parma Calcio, brings together sport, culture, local identity, and inclusion within the spaces of the “Ernesto Ceresini” Museum at the Ennio Tardini Stadium.

Once again, the pre-match atmosphere was a chance to connect and share experiences, bringing together guests, institutions, associations, and members of the Parma Calcio world in an engaging and welcoming setting.

The event opened with remarks from the Parma Museum Association. Catering inside the museum was provided by Polo Parma, represented by Michele Soavi, CEO & Co-Founder of the Parma-based company.

During the event, the traditional exchange of institutional gifts between the clubs also took place: CEO Federico Cherubini presented Giovanni Carnevali, CEO and General Director of Sassuolo, with an illustration created by Osvaldo Casanova for The Parmigianer, a symbol of mutual respect and recognition between the two clubs.

Another particularly meaningful moment was the presentation of the “Building Kindness in Sport” award to Federico Cherubini, handed over by Gaia Simonetti (USSI Toscana) and Gianluca Zurlini (USSI Emilia-Romagna). The award recognised the club’s gestures promoting a culture of kindness, such as folding the anthem jackets after the players’ entrance onto the pitch and collecting plastic bottles.

Over the years, the award has been presented to 40 figures from the world of sport and aims to highlight Parma Calcio’s work not only on the pitch, but also in the areas of social responsibility, environmental sustainability, and inclusion initiatives.

The club has stood out in Italian football for its concrete commitment to promoting a culture of respect through activities, projects, and initiatives that have directly involved the players as well.

Special attention has also been given to the personal and educational development of the club’s Academy players, as well as strengthening ties with the local community through inclusive programmes and projects.

Also present at the museum were Parma Legends Nevio Scala and Gigi Apolloni, who took part in discussion with the guests. The two shared lunch together in a special setting that they themselves helped create: the trophies won in the 1990s surrounded their table, making for a powerful and emotional moment that brought back memories of the great achievements from the seasons led by Nevio Scala on the bench and Gigi Apolloni on the pitch.

Live music in the Serafino Lounge helped set the tone for the pre-match build-up, with performances both before kick-off and at half-time adding to the experience for everyone in attendance.

Also present at the stadium were the Special team and Umbria 4 Deaf, an organisation dedicated to integrating the Deaf community into elite-level sport, once again reflecting the club’s strong commitment to inclusion and community engagement.

The final matchday of the season also marked the conclusion of this year’s “Vetrina Crociata” initiative. In the Curva Sud, school classes, cooperatives, and associations involved in the project throughout the season came together one last time to celebrate the spirit of participation, inclusion, and shared values that defined the initiative all year long.
