Parma, 5 May 2026 – In April 2026, Parma Calcio’s YouTube channel surpassed one million monthly views for the first time, hitting a major milestone in the Club’s media journey.
This result is even more meaningful when you consider the channel’s history, as just a few months ago its average figures were much lower. The channel achieved this milestone before internal forecasts had anticipated and motivates the Club to continue growing and making the Parma Calcio world increasingly accessible to more fans, followers, and casual viewers alike.
This milestone is the product of a month's worth of structured effort, which has taken two well-defined and complementary paths.
The first of which has been a stronger focus on long-form content, which is playing an increasingly vital role in the editorial strategy. Features such as Parma Roots and Mate Chef, as well as multilingual content like the segment dedicated to International Spanish Language Day, have enriched the Club’s storytelling. These have been complemented by richer and more immersive match movies that blend match storytelling with new perspectives, such as “Cam” segments spotlighting individual players.
The second focus has been on short-form content, which is playing a key role in widening reach and bringing the channel to new audiences.
As a result, a clearer editorial system built on two connected parts has been created: a long-form feed, designed to explore topics in depth, tell stories from within the Gialloblù world, and build long-term value; and a short-form feed, dynamic and eye-catching, to attract new viewers and multiply touchpoints.
Long-form content, especially, is proving excellent in reaching across borders. The Parma Roots episode dedicated to Suzuki has over 10,000 views, while Mate Chef has received extremely positive feedback, highlighting the audience’s interest in a more authentic, behind-the-scenes perspective. Similarly, training videos were recently reintroduced and were immediately loved by the fans.
This achievement goes beyond just numbers; it’s a mark that YouTube is becoming a central editorial platform within the Club’s ecosystem. A tool set to evolve further, transforming from a distribution channel into a creative hub for original content, with a direct impact on Parma Calcio’s visibility and on new opportunities for strategic partners, brand projects, and all areas of the Club.
