SPORT BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER IN NOCETO: PARMA SPECIAL SHINE IN THE DCP CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS

Noceto, 13 April 2026 – An afternoon full of true sport — the kind that means more than just the result — was held on Saturday 11 April at the “Il Noce” ground in Noceto, where Parma Special had some truly emotional moments in front of a large and engaged crowd. Amid applause, smiles and embraces, the finals of the DCP Championship were celebrated — an occasion that went far beyond football, embodying values such as inclusion and friendship.

The event was attended by key figures from the DCP movement and local institutions, as well as a special guest in CEO Federico Cherubini, underlining the club’s close support for initiatives of this kind. Adding to the occasion was the presence of several members of Parma’s men’s and women’s first teams, including Mateo Pellegrino, Francesca Fabiano and club legend Fausto Pizzi, all in attendance with great enthusiasm.

On the pitch, Parma Special (Level 3) showed character and strong team spirit. Their opening match ended in a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Nessun1Escluso, with Mirko Umiltà on the scoresheet. In the second game, the Gialloblu produced an excellent performance to secure a 3-0 win over Real Sala Baganza, thanks to a brace from Stefano Fecola and a goal from Yesin Ben Afia — results that only partly reflect the intensity of the afternoon.

At the end of the matches came the most anticipated moment: the awards ceremony. All athletes involved in the movement were celebrated, with dedicated recognition for second- and third-level teams. Among the authorities present were Marcello Mancini (AIAC ETS Solidale), Noceto mayor Fabio Fecci, Lucio Mioni (CIP Parma), Franco Capelli (FIGC Parma), national DCP/FIGC councillors Nicola Simonelli and Emanuela Andronaco, and Gianluca Buvardia from the Emilia-Romagna Youth and School Sector.

A special award was also presented to Parma Calcio’s first-level team for their interregional tournament, sealing a journey of great sporting and human value.
