ALWAYS WITH BLUE: PARMA CALCIO RENEWS ITS COMMITMENT TO AUTISM AWARENESS

Parma, 10 aprile 2026 – This April, Parma Calcio renews its social commitment through the “Always With Blue” campaign, an initiative dedicated to promoting accessibility for people with autism, with a focus on children and young people.

The Club has been carrying this project forward since 2023, and it has also led to the creation of the “Always With Blue” Social Promotion Association, actively involved in introducing children with autism to sport, particularly swimming, as well as organising numerous community initiatives in collaboration with public institutions, private organisations, and partner associations such as the Albatros Social Cooperative.

April is a fitting choice as it is dedicated to autism awareness, highlighted by World Autism Awareness Day, a key moment of global visibility. This is an increasingly important topic, as autism is now one of the most prevalent conditions among newborns, with significant social implications and a growing need for inclusion.

THE INITIATIVES

In 2026, the “Always With Blue” campaign will once again unfold through a series of meaningful activities both in the community and at the stadium. The Club took part as a partner in the Parma Social Dinner 2026, a charity event supporting the Albatros Cooperative, while on April 2 the “Facciamo la differenza (Let's make a difference)” accessibility project was presented in Fornovo Taro, developed in collaboration with the local municipality and the Estia Center.

The centrepiece of the campaign will take place on Sunday, April 12 at the Ennio Tardini Stadium, during the Serie A match between Parma and Napoli. The team will wear a special blue fourth kit, the symbolic colour of autism, featuring the “AWB” patch and numbers decorated with butterflies designed by children from the association. On the same day, 70 children with autism from Parma and the surrounding area, together with their families, will attend the match from the Petitot Stand, enjoying an experience centered on inclusion and shared participation. During halftime, they will take to the pitch, while two young people with autism from the Albatros Cooperative, trained by Parma Quality Restaurant and the Bambini e Autismo Foundation, will work in the Serafino Lounge.

The initiative will continue with the Women’s First Team in early May at the Il Noce training center, during the Serie A Women match between Parma and Lazio, involving primary school students from Noceto and Collecchio in another opportunity for awareness and participation.

Through the “Always With Blue” campaign, Parma Calcio reaffirms its commitment to being not only a sporting reference point, but also an active and responsible presence in the community, promoting inclusion, awareness, and real opportunities for all.
