Collecchio, 2 April, 2026 – Back from their international duties, the first-team and youth players have returned to training to prepare for the league to restart. Fifteen Gialloblu were involved in international competitions, representing 12 national teams across four continents. This shows the Club’s increasingly global reach in line with the “One Planet, One Club” philosophy.

ALESSANDRO CIRCATI
Called up by Australia for two friendly matches.
Alessandro Circati delivered convincing performances with Australia in friendlies in Sydney and Melbourne. The defender played 82 minutes in the 1-0 win over Cameroon and then featured again in the 5-1 victory against Curaçao. In that match, he also scored his first goal for the senior national team as he continues to make progress in his career.
ZION SUZUKI
Called up by Japan for two friendly matches.
Goalkeeper Zion Suzuki continues to impress with Japan. He played the full match against Scotland in Glasgow, keeping a clean sheet in a 1-0 victory. He was decisive again on 31 March, helping Japan secure a historic 1-0 win over England in London, making them the first Asian team to ever beat the English side.
SASCHA BRITSCHGI
Called up by Switzerland U21 for Euro U21 qualifying matches.
Sascha Britschgi took part in European youth competitions with Switzerland U21. The defender played 90 minutes in the 1-0 win over the Faroe Islands in Thun and later 46 minutes in the 2-1 victory against Estonia.
DANIEL MIKOLAJEWSKI
Called up by Poland U21 for Euro U21 qualifying matches.
Daniel Mikolajewski made a strong impact with Poland U21. The forward came off the bench to score in the 4-0 win over Armenia and later played 23 minutes in the 1-0 victory against Montenegro.
MARLON MENA MARTINEZ
Called up by the Dominican Republic senior national team for two friendlies.
Marlon Mena Martinez gained international experience with the Dominican Republic senior team. The winger featured in both friendlies in Santiago de los Caballeros, playing 20 minutes in the 2-2 draw against El Salvador and 20 minutes in the 1-1 draw against Cuba.
DJIBRIL DIALLO, LUDOVICO VARALI
Called up by Italy U17 for the second round of Euro U17 qualifiers.
Italy U17 had a perfect run in the second round of qualifiers for the 2026 European Championship, with Djibril Diallo and Ludovico Varali standing out. Both started and played 90 minutes in the 3-2 comeback win against Portugal. Varali played the full match in the 4-0 win over Iceland, while Diallo was suspended. In the final 2-1 win over Romania, both were back in action for the full 90 minutes.
ANDRIJA BURCAR, PAJSAR KARLO
Called up by Croatia U19 for the first round of Euro U19 qualifiers.
For Croatia U19, Andrija Burcar and Pajsar Karlo took part in the first round of Euro U19 qualifiers. Pajsar played two full matches against Spain and Bulgaria, while Burcar came on as a substitute, gaining minutes across the three matches (90 in total).
KRISTAPS MOSANS
Called up by Latvia U19 for the first round of Euro U19 qualifiers, held in the Czech Republic.
Kristaps Mosans followed a similar path with Latvia U19, featuring against the Czech Republic and playing 80 minutes in the 2-1 win over Belgium.
