Noceto, 13 March 2026 – Parma Women coach Giovanni Valenti spoke on the eve of Parma vs. Genoa:

“The team is coming into this game in great shape. These two weeks over the international break have allowed us to work consistently on our playing principles and our identity. It’s been a useful period to consolidate certain situations and arrive well prepared for this match.

“We come off two strong performances against very good teams. Against Inter, the game slipped away only in the final minutes, while we displayed real focus and quality away to a Napoli side sitting fourth in the league. The girls are arriving ready, prepared, and with the right enthusiasm.

“Genoa are a team we have a lot of respect for. I recognise in them a strong commitment to the shirt and great fighting spirit. We know we’ll need to give everything we have on the pitch.

“We played well in the reverse fixture, creating several chances that, unfortunately, we couldn’t convert, and we were then punished at the very end on their only real opportunity. For this reason, tomorrow we’ll need to pay close attention to the details.

“Determination and belief in our abilities will be the key words to approach this match the right way.”
