8 MARCH: STOP ASKING STUPID QUESTIONS. IT’S JUST FOOTBALL.

Parma, 8 March 2026 – There is something that, in 2026, really ought to be a thing of the past. And yet it still isn’t. When a girl plays football, the real challenge is not on the pitch. It is not the training. It is not the physical effort. It is the questions.

Questions that do not come from curiosity, but from prejudice.

Questions that are not asked to understand, but to attach a label.

Questions that would never be asked of a male player.

So we asked ourselves: why?

To mark 8 March, we decided to turn the perspective around. To hold up the same mirror to everyone. Because football does not need gendered adjectives.

When it comes to talent, sacrifice and professionalism, there is no difference.

There is the game. There is the pitch. There is the shirt. Everything else is a construct.

STOP ASKING STUPID QUESTIONS. IT’S JUST FOOTBALL.

This is a clear stance.

It is an invitation to change the language we use.

Because language shapes culture.

And culture, in sport and in society, makes the difference.

8 March is a single date.

Respect, instead, is a choice we make every day.
