Parma, 15 February 2026 – Speaking after the win over Hellas Verona, match winner Mateo Pellegrino said:

“In the second half the game became a bit complicated because they dropped much deeper and closed the spaces well. Their defenders made it difficult for us. I think the key was staying patient and, in the end, we were rewarded: we picked up three really important points. It's been a while since Parma won back-to-back league matches, so that makes today's result even more special.

The celebration? It meant a lot to me because my family and some friends were here today, and I don’t get to see them often. Scoring a last-minute winner with them in the stands was really emotional. I’m also happy to have renewed my contract and to stay at a club that gives me everything I need. I want to keep growing here.

Survival? There's still plenty left of the season. We’re taking it game by game, but we’re on the right path.”
