Annarita is from Puglia, from the province of Bari. In 2010 she moved to Parma, where she never would have dreamed of finding the man of her life. And a love for a football team.

Davide is also from Puglia, from the province of Brindisi. Since he was five years old, his heart chose Parma, in terms of football loyalty. He never would have imagined that here, in this city, he would meet the woman who would change his life.

Annarita and Davide have been together for 16 years, united by one shared love, an unconditional and boundless one: their love for Parma Calcio 1913. It is a love that Davide passed on to Annarita, a journey of life and togetherness, of strength and courage, that accompanies them every day.

They love Parma more than anything else, a team that has been close to them in the most difficult moments of their lives. A team they have held onto because “Parma è gioia,” Annarita reveals, always with her inseparable yellow-and-blue scarf around her neck.

Something magical indeed, for Davide, who as a child, the first time he saw football shirts, did not hesitate and immediately chose the one of Parma Calcio 1913: “I fell in love with the colours.” And from that moment, a never-ending story began.

A magical story, as he calls it. A story that helped him heal. When, in hospital, he used to tell the doctors that “once Parma-Juventus was over, my fever would go away and then they could operate on me.” And, of course, that is exactly what happened. Davide overcame every difficulty.

And today, with Annarita by his side, he looks ahead. Together they have incredible strength, capable of organising away trips on their own just to support the team. From Spezia to Florence for the Lega Pro final, all the way to the most recent ones in Bergamo and Bologna.

Beyond every obstacle, beyond every barrier. Beyond every boundary. Just to love, without asking for anything in return.
