Collecchio 1 January 2026 - The Gialloblù kicked off the new year back in training, and Benjamin Cremaschi started 2026 on the front foot as he received the prestigious FIFA “Golden Boot” at the Mutti Training Centre in Collecchio before an afternoon training session. The American midfielder was recognised for his performance at the most recent edition of the FIFA U20 World Cup in Chile. 

With five goals, the American midfielder secured top spot on the scoring charts, rising clear of several players tied with him, thanks to his two assists, which ultimately proved decisive in the final standings. Cremaschi follows in the footsteps of Italy’s Cesare Casadei (winner in 2023) and a long list of past winners, including Lionel Messi, Sergio Agüero, Erling Haaland, and Javier Saviola, to name just a few. 

The whole team was keen to share in this moment of joy with Benjamin, as they all took a photo with him before the first training session of the new year.
